Digi Stamp Thursday!

As some of you know, it has been a busy July for my family. We've traveled and have had company for most of this month. We are having a wonderful time! My family visiting from Texas and Tennessee will be with us until Tuesday. I don't know what I'll do once they all go home...stamp more, I guess!

I made this card late last night using this rabbit stamp from LINDSAY'S STAMP STUFF. I had wanted to use one of the pretty flower stamps that she recently created, but I was not able to download anything. Probably my tired brain was doing something wrong and I couldn't see what it was. Anyway, I just substituted the angry rabbit stamp since I already had that one. I think it turned out cute, in spite of my brain cramp!

You still have two more days left this month to take advantage of Lindsay's special - spend $5 and get a free stamp!

Someone has a stamp to give away this week that is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! Hop through the Design Team Blogs to find out who has this week's fabulous freebie!

Happy Stamping Everyone!

Welcome to My House!

It's Thursday again, and that can only mean one thing...it's digi stamp day!!! This week I'm using the digi stamp that Lindsay (LINDSAY'S STAMP STUFF) designed just for me! I absolutely love it!!!!

I copied a layout designed by Ali Dufty of the UK, found in Stampington's Spring 2007 issue of take ten. I think it works well with my image. I colored the image the same colors as my own house. I used a cuttlebug embossing folder with a panel of color core'dinations paper, sanding off the embossed areas. I also sanded a small area of the patterned paper and stamped "Welcome" (Stampin Up) and with some ribbon and a Prima Flower, I trimmed out my card. Since we will be having company this month, I thought it would be nice to leave the card in a small basket with some bath goodies for our guest.

As you may have guessed, this week is my turn to give away the freebie stamp. Click HERE to download this cute little Primitive House stamp. Check out the whole line of digi stamps at Lindsay's Stamp Stuff. Most stamps are only $1.00 each and this month you can get a free stamp with every $5.00 purchase.

Even though I have the freebie this week, stop by the rest of the Design Team's Blogs and leave them some love. I know they've posted some wonderful projects that you won't want to miss!

Happy Stamping Everyone!

Digi Stamp Thursday

Don't ask me why I was drawn to fall colors this week! I got these pretty papers, brads and stickers at Judy's Scrappin' and Stampin', and I can't put them down! I thought they would be great with this funky tree stamp from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff! I colored the stamp with my bic mark its and embelished the fruit on the tree with orange stickles. I used a sketch from Tuesday Morning Sketches which is a new challenge blog, recently started by Melissa Craig. Click on the link and give it a try. Lindsay's Stamp Stuff is a sponsor this week, so the prize will be a good one! Lindsay is also offering a special for the month of July - for every $5 you spend in her shop, you get a free stamp.
Don't forget to check out the Design Team's Blogs for this week's freebie. You never know who will have it!

Chinese Rabbit Card

It's Thursday again and that means it's Digi Stamp Day!!! Today's card is made with two fun stamps from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff. I used the Rabbit stamp and the Chinese Calligraphy Rabbit stamp. I colored both stamps with my Prisma Markers and I used a sketch from 2 sketches 4 you. When I saw the sketch this week, I knew I had to use these two stamps with this sketch! I made my first attempt at using Mr. Linky, so if anyone notices that I didn't do it properly, could you let me know??? I'd appreciate it!

Lindsay is running a new special this month. For every $5 you spend at Lindsay's Stamp Stuff, you can choose a FREE STAMP! But that's not all!!! Hop around to the Design Team Blogs and find this week's freebie! I wonder what fabulous stamp Lindsay has drawn this week...hmmmm...

Love this Primitive Flower Stamp!

Hello All! I colored this stamp PRIMITIVE FLOWERS a few weeks ago when I got home from the big stamping expo in Massachusetts. I got a pallet of pearl paints while I was there and, well, everything I colored that week got at least a smidge of pearliness. (New word) :)

For this card, I used a digi stamp from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff. I printed the image on cream card stock and colored it with my Bic Mark Its, highlighting areas with white pearl paints. For the card base I used cream card stock also. I folded a whole sheet in half lengthwise. Next I trimmed a piece of color core paper to the same size (11x 4 1/4) and ran it through the CuttleBug, embossing it with the swirls folder. Since it is so long, you have to emboss each end and meet up in the middle. Once the paper is embossed, sand off the embossed swirls and the second color will peek through. Trim the (folded) card stock base to 7 3/4 x 4 1/4 and trim the embossed paper to the same size. Attach maroon ribbon and bow to embossed panel and adhere that to base. Attach matted stamp to card front. Add Martha Steward Pearls to front. Die cut heart using chipboard and book page with CuttleBug and stamp LOVE (studio g). Use black ink to edge heart and pop dots to attach to card front.

I decided to use the scraps right away, instead of tossing them in my already overflowing scrap drawer! I trimmed the leftover color core panel down and adhered it to the scrap of cardstock. I stamped a bird (inkadinkado) with cream ink on a scrap of brown paper and trimmed around it. I attached the bird to the card front with a few pop dots and stuck a small sticker in the corner. Two MS pearls finished it off! This card measures 4 1/4 x 3 1/4. Now I have a small gift card to add to my stash, not more scraps!

Don't forget to do the blog hop and see who has this week's freebie stamp and check out all the beautiful creations Lindsay's Design Team members have posted this week. Welcome to Melissa and Leanne, our two newest members! Leave them all some love and let them know what you think! Happy 4th!!!!
