Halloween is Spooktacular!
Don't you just love Halloween? I do! And I love the fabulous Halloween stamps from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff. This one is called "Harry the Spider" and you can buy it for just $1.
To make this card, I started with a pumpkin colored card stock base and a slightl y smaller panel of black/white core'dinations paper. I embossed it with the cuttlebug spiderweb folder and sanded off the embossed area to reveal the white web. I colored Harry with my pearl paints and adhered him with a pop dot. Add a flower with a brad center and a sentiment and you have an effortless card with big "eeek" factor (and just a touch of cuteness :)
Since it's Thursday, someone on Lindsay's talented Design Team will have a freebie for you. Take a stroll through their blogs, leave them some love, and find a ghoulish gift for yourself!

Happy Halloween!
Happy Thursday, Everyone! I was in my art room yesterday, trying to get it organized, little by little, and found a large red tote bag. Inside the bag was a package of Nestabilities that I bought at the stamping expo this spring! I guess I had left them behind and forgot about them. The poor things! So.....I opened them up and got busy! I made this Halloween card using the spooky pumpkins stamp from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff . You can get this fun digii stamp in her shop for just $1! How cool is that?
I got started by coloring the image with my bic mark its and cutting/embossing it with my long lost nesties. Hmmm....then what to do? I decided to choose some papers from my scrap drawer and chose a scrap of Bo Bunny patterned paper, a random scrap of green and a pumpkin colored Bazzill card stock base. I still wasn't surehow I wanted to put it all together and decided to surf the net for inspiration. I found this great sketch at Janet's The Corrosive Challenge Blog. All I needed to do was flip the sketch on it's side to fit my image. Perfect!
Here is a list of supplies I used:
Patterned Papper: Bo Bunny
Card Stock: Bazzill
Green and Cream card stock scraps
Digi Image: Lindsay's Stamp Stuff
Sentiment: It didn't say!
Leaf Brad: Judy's Junque
StazOn Ink: Olive Green, Black
Bic Mark its: Honey Brown, Adobe Orange, Summer Melon, For Ever Green, Yellow Blaze, Moonstone Yellow

Whew! I Made it!
Well, I waited till the last minute to do this week's card...so of course, I am having computer/printing problems. Fortunately, I had a few images already printed, so I whipped up this card using one of my favorite images from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff. Be sure to check out her on line shop, she's added some awesome new stamps to her collection. I colored the primitive house image the colors of my own house and inked the edges with vintage photo distress ink. The sentiment is a stamp by repeat impressions , that I picked up Tuesday, at my Judy's Scrappin' and Stampin'. I'm not sure if it shows in the photo, but I embossed the bottom edge with one of my cuttlebug embossing borders. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!
This week Lindsay has created a special stamp for one of her fabulous design team members, so don't be draggin' behind...FLY around to their blogs and find this week's freebie!

Cool Cards!
Wow! It has been a busy week. My family all left for NYC on Tuesday to visit more family before heading back to their own homes. We had so much fun while they were here. We spent almost all of our time outside, since the weather was so nice. It was sad to see them all leave.
So, not being in the best of moods, I wasn't really up for coloring images today, so I decided to print one of the easy to use card kits from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff this week. I was able to make three cards very quickly.
I used the coolkid card kit for these cards. I printed the kit on white paper and cut out the pieces. For the birthday card, I used a blue cardstock for my base, and layered the pieces on top, using brads for embelishments in the star centers. For the friend card, I also used blue cardstock for the base, and embelished with ribbon and prima flowers, finishing it up with a rubber stamped sentiment. For the together forever card, I sponged antique linen distress ink over the star panel and the bolts and embelished with ribbon and an eyelet for a different look. I layered the stars, rust and striped papers on a cream cardstock base and stamped the sentiment with brown ink. Three different cards, all made from the same card kit!
Since it has been such a big hit, Lindsay has decided to make last month's "special"a permanent deal - spend $5 and get a free stamp! And don't forget to hop through the Design Team's blogs to see where this week's freebie has been planted!
