On Vacation

Happy Thursday, Everyone! It is for me- I'm on vacation!! Yesterday, hubby and I visited the Grand Canyon. It was a "balmy" 17 degrees F. Brrr....I thought we left that kind of weather back in the Northeast, but it seems it has followed us here. In spite of the cold weather, we had a fabulous time. Words cannot describe the beauty we saw here. Today we are going to Hoover Dam for a tour. We caught a glimpse of it yesterday on the way back from the Canyon.
Even though I am on vacation, Lindsay and the rest of her Design Team should be home and hard at their crafty work, so stop by Thefrugalcrafter's Weblog, pick up a freebie, and see what crafty inspiration you can find this week! Check out Lindsay's FABULOUS SALE while you are there too!!!
Here is a card I made a couple of weeks ago. I posted it then, but it was an "off day" and I didn't get much traffic, so I thought I'd share it with you again today. Let me know what you think, I LOVE your comments. They make my day!!!

Easy Valentine Goodies

Since today is the last day before Valentine's Day and Vacation, Jacob wanted to take goodies to his class mates at school. This is what we made. We cut a 3x3 square of cardstock, scored and folded it, and stamped a Valentine message on each. We put a small scoop of M&Ms, Candy Corn, and a tiny Hershey Bar in each bag and stapled the topper on the bag with a gold staple. He also made his famous brownies, but I forgot to take a picture of those!
