ATC with Matching Dominoes
Here are a couple of pictures of some ATCs I made with matching Dominoes for a Stamp Shack swap hosted by Christie. Check out her great craft blog here. I used Tim Holtz alcohol inks (Latte and Caramel) for the backgrounds and the leaf stamp is by Inkadinkado and stamped using Jet Black StazOn Ink, "explore" is by Clear Choice Stamps. I used Xmas Red Stickles for the dots on the bottom. The ladybug was colored with red oil pastels. I can't wait to see what all you others have created, and will post them as soon as they arrive in my mailbox!

Easy Valentine Goodies
Since today is the last day before Valentine's Day and Vacation, Jacob wanted to take goodies to his class mates at school. This is what we made. We cut a 3x3 square of cardstock, scored and folded it, and stamped a Valentine message on each. We put a small scoop of M&Ms, Candy Corn, and a tiny Hershey Bar in each bag and stapled the topper on the bag with a gold staple. He also made his famous brownies, but I forgot to take a picture of those!

Let's Get Sewing ATCs
Sherri at the Stamp Shack posted a swap to get sewing on some ATCs. I had never tried, and thought it sounded like fun. While looking at old photos with my mom one afternoon, I found a sweet photo of two children holding flags. I thought it would make a great ATC - another first - using a photograph for an ATC. So, I stitched around the edges with red, stamped memories in blue and hand tinted the large flag with water color pencils. I added a heart shaped brad in the corner for a finishing touch.
We don't yet know who the children are in the photo, but my mom thinks that it may have been taken on a 4th of July at a family reunion. I've been trying to track down the story of these two children. I'll make a new post once I solve the mystery.

Blog Candy Give Away!
One of my Stamp Shack friends, Jennifer, has posted a blog candy give away to celebrate her birthday. Gotta love a girl like that - giving away presents on her birthday! Anyway, check out her blog here to see what her give-away is and while you are there, look through and see all the fabulous projects she has posted. She'll be back on the 15th, but for now she is vacationing in Mexico. Lucky Duck! Happy Birthday, Jennifer!

February Birthday Cards
Quick post tonight, as I have been working on a fun ATC project for a Stamp Shack Swap (to be posted at a later time). These are a few of the February Birthday Cards I made for family and friends. I just love the fishing stamp for "manly" cards. I hadn't used it for a while, so I dug it out to do these quick cards. Again, I stuck mostly with the same basic layout and they all took about 10 minutes or less. For one of them, I used scraps from some of the others! No waste. Gotta love that. Stamps by studio g, Rubber Stampede, and imaginations!

The Eyes Have It!
Just a quick post to show you the fabulous ATCs I got in the mail recently. I seem to have misplaced the one I made, but here's a picture of the others. To see mine (in an earlier post) - click HERE. These wonderful pieces of art have come to me from all over the world. Thank you all so much! I love each one.
PS I sent out a packet of stamped images to Lindsay and Cheryl for commenting on my last post. Thanks, ladies!
