Welcome to My House!

It's Thursday again, and that can only mean one thing...it's digi stamp day!!! This week I'm using the digi stamp that Lindsay (LINDSAY'S STAMP STUFF) designed just for me! I absolutely love it!!!!

I copied a layout designed by Ali Dufty of the UK, found in Stampington's Spring 2007 issue of take ten. I think it works well with my image. I colored the image the same colors as my own house. I used a cuttlebug embossing folder with a panel of color core'dinations paper, sanding off the embossed areas. I also sanded a small area of the patterned paper and stamped "Welcome" (Stampin Up) and with some ribbon and a Prima Flower, I trimmed out my card. Since we will be having company this month, I thought it would be nice to leave the card in a small basket with some bath goodies for our guest.

As you may have guessed, this week is my turn to give away the freebie stamp. Click HERE to download this cute little Primitive House stamp. Check out the whole line of digi stamps at Lindsay's Stamp Stuff. Most stamps are only $1.00 each and this month you can get a free stamp with every $5.00 purchase.

Even though I have the freebie this week, stop by the rest of the Design Team's Blogs and leave them some love. I know they've posted some wonderful projects that you won't want to miss!

Happy Stamping Everyone!

Oh my stars, I just love the way the cb birdie background matches the birdie on the house! Such a cute card! The way you sanded a spot on the dark paper to stamp welcome is an awesome idea! LOVE IT!

Tracey, that embossing folder could not be more perfect for this digi stamp!!! Those embossing folders (well, and the Big Shot/Big Kick....whatever you call it!!!) are on my wish list....its amazing how long that thing can get! :>:> You really put it to some good work for you here. I also loved that you sanded where you stamped your sentiment. I do that often, except, I usually use paints. Sanding would be much faster....so thanks for the tip!! :> Enjoy your company!! :>

Where did you get the shiny paper? This card looks just fabulous! What a nice idea to leave it for guests to find with a special gift just for them! I need to get some hostessing pointers from you...my guests are lucky to find clean towels, lol!
